Pirate's bounty

While this boy has been a handful lately, he always boils down to this child: one who is light and tender and full of so much that I've yet to identify. Last night his literal self came out: he called every character he saw by their costumed name. It was not tongue in cheek either, he was genuine when he yelled "Hey, Little Bo Peep!" at me everytime he needed something.

Also, yesterday morning his school had a Halloween party. At one point I eyed him with his arms raised and a very serious look on his face. He was blocking the path of two little boys who both happened to be dressed as Mr. Incredible. As I quickly approached (fearing the worst) I heard him say in all seriousness, "Ok, this is all I need to know: which one of you is the real Mr Incredible?" The poor little things were a bit shell-shocked. However, the larger of the two slowly raised his hand and Cai said, "Ok, that's all I needed to know!" and stormed off. He found me a moment later and said, "Hey Bo Peep, I just did my imvestigation and I discovered who the real Mr. Incredible is and who is the fake!" He was very proud so I gave him the proper kudos and shook my little lost head.
