Three signs spring is here:
1. Cai and I just received his ladybug larvae and are now off to witness an adventure in nature (ok, I know I'm reaching a new level of dorkiness but I am really excited).
2. Soon we will plant all of our seeds: nasturtiums, sweet peas, morning glory, sugar snap peas, carrots and Cai said, "Mama, I weally want to gwow some salad, ok?"
3. I'm going to shave my legs any day now.
4. We are planning Solomon's first birthday party - oh joy!
5. I have switched from lattes to iced coffee almost permanently.
3 signs summer is approaching:
1. Today we bought our yearly supply of snow cone flavors, spoony straws and cups. Cai selected Blue Raspberry and Cherry - he is brilliant.
2. I am contemplating buying a new swimsuit but more seriously shopping for new Teva flip-flops because I plan to hit the river multiple times this year.
3. Cai and I also acquired a super bad-ass Scooby Doo bubble blower. There are few things more luxurious than hanging out in the sunshine eating a snowcone and enjoying your own bubble machine. All I need now is a pedicure and we are set I'm telling you. Living LARGE here at Bluehaven.
